4K a year Assistant Director of Retail and Online Fulfillment Overview We are seeking an enthusiastic team player to grow and develop with our company.
The ideal candidate is eager to master our current operation, execute the company's vision for innovative growth and willing to take guidance from company leadership.
The Assistant Director will be responsible for fulfilling the daily shipping obligation, communicating proactively with customers via e-mail & telephone, as well as utilizing our retail point of sale.
This position is in Cameron, Texas and is not eligible for remote work.
Responsibilities Fulfillment:
Ensure orders are shipped on time to the correct recipient and in acceptable condition.
Communicate with FedEx & UPS to track shipments, identify delayed packages, proactively communicate with affected customers, and initiate claims as necessary Identify fulfillment inefficiencies and shortfalls, work with the Director to implement creative solutions.
Create and implement a process to efficiently track cost and inventory of consumables, create re-order points accordingly.
Receive incoming product, reconcile, and maintain our inventory management system.
Transfer inventory between warehouses and create stock adjustments.
Assistant Director is responsible for the organization, cleanliness, and inventory management policy of our freezer.
Perform other duties as assigned by Director of Retail & Online Fulfillment.
Retail:
Enthusiastically represent the 44 Farms brand with authentic customer service, embracing the company culture from our family to yours.
Become a brand expert, as well as develop expertise in our product offerings.
Establish an intimate knowledge of steak and the process from farm to table.
Assess customer needs and recommend solutions accordingly.
Ensure retail center storefront remains stocked, organized, and clean.
Operate Point of Sale register, take orders, make change, and count drawer accurately.
Ensure property and storefront remains ready and presentable, open store at 10AM and close at 6PM.
Assistant Director is responsible for managing point of sale transactions and accounting.
Qualifications Self-motivated, willingness to be a team player, outgoing personality, and a passion for pursuing personal and professional growth.

Physical abilities:
Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds, work on feet for up to 8 hours a day as necessary.
Excellent interpersonal and communications skills, and a genuine passion for elevating the brand.

years of experience in either retail, online sales, food industry or warehouse experience.
Operation of electric pallet jack may be required.
